The deep thinkers of tomorrow 

The retreat was themed "Called to the Marketplace", led by Gordon Preece, Director and Dean of the Macquaries Christian Studies Institute. He expounded on marketplace theology and encouraged us on having an integrated spirituality from Sunday to throughout the week.

Gordon's teaching was really power packed. So power packed that some people had to resort to concentrated attention by tapping into sheer will and determination to absorb it all.

James, yet again. Now don't be deceived. He was just resting his head while he exercised immense powers of concentration.


But who can beat Yew Kong, who knew how to strategise his position to aid him in his remarkable efforts of concentration!


But no, really, I was paying attention to Gordon! I wasn't trying to keep myself awake by waiting to see people's eyes flutter heavily and I wasn't waiting for them to fall asleep to catch these pictures!

Hmm...good thing i've learnt how to sleep with eyes wide opened...haha! But yeah, it was really power lar...his lectures...err..sermons?
