Hahahaha!
Actually got a lot to say, but wisdom dictates that nothing should be said!
I may understand what precipitates such a fear and for perhaps nearly similar reasons I avoid yoga myself, but I'm certainly glad to have a foundation not built from fear!

I want my passport back!
Am still stuck in Malaysia but I'm sorry to those people who I've snapped at, but you just don't know how high the level of stress goes up to whenever people ask me about my visa situation. I'm not even going to attempt to justify myself - this is just going to be one of those unrepentant things I hold on to (among many things).
It has come to a point where I refuse to meet people except for a select few to lessen the chances of anyone asking me about my visa and cause my blood pressure to go up. I'm so grateful for the few who understand me well enough to give me the time and space I need, especially for the sms that said, "If you need to go out for a drink or dinner, just call, the doors are always open." Nothing more, nothing less. Bless you my friend!
Anyway, among the build up to my frustration has been the topic of prayer. It's been something I've been consciously and unconsciously trying to understand better in the last 5 years. Why pray if God already knows everything and plans out everything and if I don't know what's best for me when He does? Well, I really really want to go back to London, and Matthew 7:7 - Ask and it will be given to you.
So why when I've asked, I still have not received?
Bro O asked me about my situation today as it'll involve his and his wife's situation as well, I told him, "I understand prayer less today than I did 10 years ago."
You don't know how glad I am when my spiritual mentor responded saying, "ME TOO!!"
No wonder I'm as confused as I am eh.

i know how you feel because i've been in similar--not identical, but similar--situations myself. don't give up. keep up praying and keep on believing that god has your best at heart. acknowledge his sovereignty AND keep asking until his answer is clear.
pray as hard as david did for his dying child. but after his child died, david did not turn away from god. this isn't an answer about the nature of prayer or god's will. this is an example of how one can pray. i will be praying with you.

Music CD bargains
If you are like me and you enjoy your music (must say Eevon has influenced me a bit on that as music is her passion) and you're against piracy but also cost-sensitive as CDs can be quite expensive, let me recommend to you Victoria Music Centre in Bangsar Shopping Centre. They have got very good offers on their CDs, and some of them I can tell you will be considered cheap in UK.
At least this is my opinion only larh, because in the last 3 weeks whenever I meet friends in various shopping centres, I would always browse through music shops and none of them has any offers as good as VMC. They may not have the most extensive selections but it's reasonable. Although Yvonne and I found a really cheap Chinese CD in Speedy where original price was RM40++ and it was selling for RM9.90.

Captainball
I got to admit, I'm learning to enjoy my third enforced week of holiday! Highlight so far is playing captainball with i-Bridge folks in tanah-air. That is to say, ground full of water, after a heavy shower.
I've not played captainball or competitive games for ages, as I'm always accused in UK for being 'over-competitive'. Pfft. So I was very anxious to enjoy them for captainball.
And it was good to run and jump and just stretch muscles that way. It was good fun as well because everyone was just laughing, joking and just playing for fun - with kung fu style of playing, shouting, crappy jokes, jumping on the water to splash one another.

I'm tired
of eating. Yes, I'm partially affected by my time in UK where I eat to live and not live to eat.
And I'm tired of repeating my news over and over and OVER again. Visiting my ex-company the other day, every individual I met asked the same questions and I eventually decided to leave when I felt too tired of talking anymore. Made me wish I could just send a mass FAQ to everyone like I did when I left.
A friend snuck me into the office and I was glad to see familiar faces and after a year, nothing really changed. Most of them said I looked more 'prosperous' but surprisingly, a number of them said that I was 'glowing'. I guess the real difference is that I no longer look as haggard as I did slogging through the work there last time.
I missed the place and people though. If I ever came back to KL, I would go right back to this place I call "Hell". If lah. For now, I doubt that would happen anytime soon.

Stuck
in Malaysia.
British High Commission has changed their procedures in dealing with visas and it could take 2 weeks before visa is approved, and even then they have made a clause saying that that is only an estimate and it could be more than that.
I waited until this morning, an hour before the cut off time I can make final changes to my flight and finally had to call MAS to make those changes.
Although I appreciate more time to catch up with friends, I do not appreciate the amount of time I have to take off work and praying that my management will not think that I am purposely being a slacker.
