This incredibly poignant poem was written by Ee Von.


Greater is the pain to love from afar,
Than it is to have just one kiss.

Greater is the pain to keep silent in the heart,
Than it is to pick the pieces after it's broken.

Greater is the pain to see only in dreams,
Than it is to chance on what can be.

Greater is the pain to shy from a mere touch,
Than it is to experience the quick sparks of an embrace.

Greater is the pain to hope for what ifs,
Than it is to know what's happened.

Greater is the pain to be safe and not hurt,
Than it is to take a risk and cry when it did.

Greater is the pain to never know,
Than it is to be happy even for a while...


Would you really do it all over again?
