I've travelled through Heathrow every year for the last three years but this time, it was on a one-way ticket. It felt a bit surreal thinking that I would not return to Heathrow airport for a while.
I didn't have too heavy a heart though in leaving London. Not as heavy when I first left the UK after my degree in Newcastle. Maybe because this time, it was my choice to leave London and knowing for certain it is the right time, right decision.
And this morning, I'm sitting in Changi Airport waiting to go to Bali for holiday.
I can't help but think, I have a new favourite airport!!
