Some things will never change 

The phone rang yesterday morning at 10am and I saw it was Gurjeet. As I was having a busy morning as work is finally hitting me hard, I picked it up with my crisp "I'm-working-what-do-you-want" voice.


Guju: Errr... hello? Ooo... errr... I called you? Sorry... wrong person!

Me: Stupid woman.

Guju: I pressed the wrong speed dial... I wanted to call someone else to ask to go for lunch later...

Me: GURJEET!!!! It's 10AM in the morning!!!! 10 YEARS GURJEET, 10 YEARS!!! And you are STILL thinking about lunch early in the morning!!!!

Guju: Hahahahha...


Sigh... some things just will never change. Most mornings, she would come to classes during college days, sit down, stare at the few of us and declare, "I'm hungry. What are we going to have for lunch?!"

Honestly, at least 50% of her brain capacity is geared towards food.
