Nurse: Maybe if you don't look and played with your iPad.
Me: Mmmm... no. I don't want a surprise prick. I need to watch it. Wait arr... fuuuu... okokIcandothis...
*Prick*
Me: OOoooooooooo... ay ya ya...
Nurse: Ok, done. If you look at the chart above, 1 being the least painful and 10 being the most painful, how would you rate the pain of the blood test?
Me: Err... hmm... 3?
*Pause*
Me: Ok, no lar, 2.
What a cunning way of belittling my fears. I STILL don't like blood test.
