Last Monday afternoon I had a sudden crazy craving for something sweet. And for the first time since leaving UK, felt like making it on my own instead of buying it from the store.
I guessed as much the moment I started I would feel a tinge of regret since it takes a bit of effort to whisk by hand. I wanted to have meringue soaked with mango and it's by far one of the easiest desserts to make.
The result was just made it pass the satisfactory level. My 3-in-1 Microwave, Oven and Grill is ok as microwave and grill but I see now how a good oven can make a lot of difference. But everyone in the office seemed impressed with it too. But more because I could actually bake something more than anything else. Hmph.
